The Bottom of the Fifth 15, r/Seattle 9

The Bottom of the Fifth returned to action five long months after suffering an unexpected early exit from the playoffs. Eagerly looking for redemption, BOTF raced out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first. Demonstrating a killer instinct lacking from the fall season, BOTF poured on insurance runs and was never in danger of relinquishing the lead. Glenn Coates made the most of his call-up from the minors by handcuffing r/Seattle with his repertoire of off-speed pitches and pin-point location. Meanwhile Spencer Scott pulled out the boom stick at the plate en route to earning player of the game honors.

The Bottom of the Fifth seeks to keep the good times rolling this Sunday with a doubleheader starting at 11:45am.
